Itinerary

Day 1: Stone Town
Arrive at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport in Zanzibar, where you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Forodhani Garden Night Food Market, savoring a variety of local dishes and fresh seafood. Overnight at a hotel in Stone Town – standard room (shared).

Day 2: Stone Town and Spice Tour
Start your day with a delightful breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a historical walking tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in history and culture. Later, participate in a fascinating Spice Tour to learn about the spices that Zanzibar is famous for, and their various uses. Afterward, unwind at a nearby beach. Overnight at a resort – standard room (shared).

Day 3: Mnemba and Nungwi
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the resort before heading out for an exciting dolphin snorkeling adventure at Mnemba, where you will encounter vibrant marine life. Then, relax and swim at Nungwi Beach. Choose between a thrilling quad Adventure, a tour of Nungwi, or a unique experience of swimming with horses. As the day ends, enjoy a breathtaking Nungwi Sunset Dhow Cruise.

Day 4: Tanzania Coast
After breakfast at the resort, take a speed boat transfer from Kendwa to the Tanzania mainland. Spend the afternoon at leisure, either by the swimming pool or on the beach, soaking in the serene surroundings. Overnight at a beach lodge – standard room (shared)

Day 5: Western Usambara Mountains
Enjoy breakfast before embarking on an overland safari trip to the Western Usambara Mountains. In the afternoon, take a scenic cliff and village walk, exploring the stunning landscapes and local villages. Overnight at a lodge – en-suite tent.

Day 6: Usambara Mountains
Start your day with a Morning Shagayu Forest Walk in the Usambara Mountains, discovering the diverse flora and fauna. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, enjoying the natural beauty around you. Overnight at a lodge – en-suite tent.

Day 7: Mount Kilimanjaro
Continue your journey north to the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Visit the Materuni Waterfalls and participate in a coffee tour, enjoying a local lunch and learning about coffee production. – standard room (shared)

Day 8: Arusha
After breakfast, head out for a Serval Wildlife Experience with lunch. Continue to Arusha City, often referred to as the ‘Geneva of Africa’. Overnight – standard room.

Day 9: Mto wa Mbu and Karatu
Enjoy breakfast before driving to Mto wa Mbu village outside Lake Manyara National Park. Take a village walk with a local lunch, experiencing the local culture and cuisine. Continue your journey to Karatu. Overnight – tent with shared (hot water) bathroom facilities.

Day 10: Serengeti National Park
Have breakfast before driving to Serengeti National Park. Stop on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater to enjoy the panoramic view of the crater floor. Visit the Olduvai Gorge Site Museum to learn about early human fossils. Enjoy a picnic lunch and a game viewing drive en route to your accommodation. Overnight at safari lodge

Day 11: Serengeti National Park
Start your day with breakfast before driving across the Serengeti National Park, taking in the vast landscapes and abundant wildlife.

Day 12: Lake Natron
Drive to Lake Natron, visiting the site of Hominid Footprints, a significant archaeological site. All meals are included.

Day 13: Ngare Sero and Arusha
Take a village walk in Ngare Sero before driving back to Arusha, with a picnic lunch en route. Visit the Shanga Foundation and Arusha Cultural Heritage Centre to learn about local art and culture. Dine at The Uzunguni City Park for a taste of authentic Tanzanian cuisine (dinner and drinks not included). Overnight at Mc-Ellys Hotel.

Day 14: Departure
Have breakfast before transferring to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure, concluding your unforgettable journey through Zanzibar and Tanzania.
