Itinerary
Day 1: Gaborone
Upon arrival at Gaborone Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to an overnight bus heading to Ghanzi.
Day 2: Ghanzi – Bushmen Experience
Start your day with breakfast at the lodge before transferring to a Bushmen village. Here, you will embark on a guided bush walk to learn about local plant and wildlife knowledge. The day concludes with a traditional Bushmen dance and celebration, followed by some free time to explore the area.
Day 3: Ghanzi – Bushmen Experience
After breakfast at the village, you will tour D’kar Village, including a visit to the Kuru Museum and Cultural Centre.
Day 4: Maun / Okavango Delta
Enjoy breakfast before transferring to a lodge in Maun. Spend the day at leisure, either by the pool or exploring the surroundings.
Day 5: Maun / Okavango Delta
Following breakfast at the lodge, take a mokoro trip along the delta. The rest of the day is at your leisure, either bathing in the pool or adventuring in the surroundings.
Day 6: Maun / Okavango Delta
After breakfast, enjoy another day at ease, relaxing poolside or enjoying the local scenery.
Day 7: Kasane / Chobe
Begin your day with breakfast at the lodge before flying to a lodge in Kasane. Spend the day reclined by the water, or checking out the local landscapes.
Day 8: Kasane / Chobe
Following breakfast at the lodge, embark on a safari in Chobe National Park. The rest of the day is at your leisure, either soaking in the rays poolside, or taking in the sights.
Day 9: Kasane / Chobe
After breakfast at the lodge, immerse yourself in the local culture with activities such as basket making, song and dance, storytelling, and dressmaking. In the afternoon, enjoy a Chobe river cruise.
Day 10: Victoria Falls
Start your day with breakfast at the lodge before crossing the border into Zimbabwe. Transfer to a backpackers lodge in Victoria Falls and spend the day touring the area, with opportunities for shopping and optional local beer tasting.
Day 11: Victoria Falls
Following breakfast, visit the magnificent Victoria Falls and take in the beautiful Zambezi River with a cruise.
Day 12: Departure
After breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your departure.
